As one of That Lot's two ECDs alongside David Schneider, David creatively drives the day-to-day social output of clients such as Prime Video, HSBC and Spotify.
After being a writer for over 10 years ‒ working for MTV, several brands, magazines and YouTubers ‒ David's foray into social media came by way of setting up a spoof Twitter account for his local pub, @the_dolphin_pub, which attracted a cult following, won Time Out's 'Best London Twitter' and led to him being asked to run Twitter accounts for numerous brands, celebrities and broadcasters including BBC One's The Voice, which broke BBC records for engagement, and The Apprentice which became one of the most followed television shows on social media.
He was also the writer and producer of the first entertainment channel on Facebook, O2's Facebook Unlimited, which gave him a strong understanding of how to approach video on the platform.
David specialises in nailing tone of voice and creating highly shareable social formats, both of which have contributed towards That Lot's various award wins, along with some major successes for clients, such as making Channel 4 the most viewed broadcaster on Facebook. David is a regular speaker at events such as Social Media Week and Web Summit, writes for industry publications and was one of last year's BME Pros mentors aimed at improving diversity in senior positions within PR and social.
Outside of social media, David is also a drummer and toured the world in a band you've never heard of."
