Lisa Hale is currently Head of Social Media at Specsavers UK, building the brand's first ever social media team and shaping its future social media strategy. Previous to this, Lisa was Associate Director and Trustee Board Director at employee owned creative communications agency Tangerine.
Lisa has headed up a series of award winning social media campaigns including The Drum Marketing Award's Best Integrated B2C campaign and The Social Buzz Award’s Best Use of Instagram for Vimto, The DADI’s Best Use of Social Media for Pizza Hut Restaurants UK and more recently The Drum Marketing Award's Best use of Sponsorship for the social media activation of the The Ashes.
Lisa has over 13 years’ experience in PR & social media, spanning public affairs, B2B and B2C, working with brands including John Lewis, Tesco, Sainsbury’s, M&S Bank, Vimto, Pizza Hut Restaurants and Specsavers.
Why I am judging the awards... "I am taking part in this year's Social Media awards as I'm really keen to play a role in recognizing and rewarding industry leading work in the UK.The awards are really important as it gives us an opportunity to learn about and keep up with best practice, in an industry that is forever changing. I will be looking for examples of true brand impact and audience cut through. Especially during this period of time - when platforms are busier than ever, your brand's voice and activations need to be stronger than ever."
