My background is actually fashion with a degree from London College of Fashion and time spent at Principles and Arcadia before I moved into marketing at John Lewis. I started in their fashion team before moving on to the Brand team where I worked on the Christmas Campaign for two years. During those campaigns I discovered my love for social and moved onto manage the social channels at john lewis until 2015. I then took the role of senior social media manager at Dixons Carphone, looking after the Currys PC world and Carphone Warehouse brands. I took on the content aspect at the start of last year to become to the head of social and content for both brands.
