As the overall beauty category has become more crowded, Dove was seeing newer brands take off on social media thanks to the power of influencer marketing. The question was: "how does a multi-generation brand with Dove's cache and market power breakthrough via influencers on social media?" In response, Collectively activated a new influencer strategy, tapping a diverse group of Dermatologists, Skincare Enthusiasts, and Dove Lovers to position Dove as the #1 body wash brand —getting ahead of competitors by staying top of mind in the "skin-fluencer" and social space. Collectively developed a multi-tactic strategy spanning organic influencer posts, paid boosting, and earned UGC while considering multiple product formats to evangelize key innovation and product formulation narratives. Eight unique briefs span five different products that have created measurable Brand Lift and "always-on" coverage, increasing category favorability for the entire Skin Cleansing business. Results have supported a 704% increase in the brand's social rankings in the US market and 86M total impressions as of July 2022.
