Andy is Head of News Curation for BuzzFeed UK with more than 10 years experience reporting, feature writing and broadcasting.
In his current role and previous role as BuzzFeed's UK Social Media Editor, Andy has been at the forefront of delivering the company's news and political coverage on new platforms.
He organised BuzzFeed’s EU referendum Townhall Facebook Live event, in which leaders including David Cameron and Nicola Sturgeon answered questions from a live studio audience, attracting 7.7m viewers and received the 2016 commendation in the Drum's Social Media Buzz Individual of the Year award.
Before joining BuzzFeed, Andy worked for BBC News, as a senior reporter for @BBCBreaking, as well as a producer for Newsnight, Panorama, BBC World and BBC London.
