Amelia’s social media career began at Premier, where she worked on innovative social campaigns for clients including the Universal, 20th Century Fox, HBO’s Game of Thrones, Paramount and the BFI. Her campaign for Hunger Games: Catching Fire created the appearance of a rebel group hacking the film’s social pages, and gained international press and fan attention. Additionally, Amelia worked on Kit-Kat’s social media at J. Walter Thompson, the ‘world’s best known marketing communications brand’. Her love of innovation and engaging audiences on social lead her to Pottermore, where she currently heads up the award-winning social media team. Pottermore recently launched the Wizarding World Book Club, a global, digital re-read of the Potter books in celebration of the 20th anniversary of Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone.
"I’m looking not only for innovation, but for meaningful campaigns which start on social and extend beyond. I’ll be particularly interested in ideas that engage and mobilise a social community, and bring something a little unusual to the table."
